Little Thoughts, Big Wonders
Second day of the Chinese Lunar New Year! Exciting day for most with all the running around and collection of ang paos! Well except adults~~ They lose money during this event xD For me, it was just staying at home and doing up my work dued on Monday. Yeah...the lecturers had to be so mean to squeeze the work into this period =.=
So woke up, and the first thing I did was check my phone and voila! Saw ling ling's message: "Hey hey hey!" Yeah she woke earlier than me =p
She had to go for visitations, while I was at home doing my work, waiting for the reunion dinner at 6. Then at around 1 odd, my mum suddenly asked me to ask lingg to the gathering. Mmmmm not sure why, but I went ahead anyway lolol! So after some consideration, lingg decided to come down since she said she was real bored at the current place she was at haha~
So time went on till about 6, where I went up to have my dinner. Of which lingg messaged me and I rushed down to fetch her up ^^
So so so when we entered the house, you shoulda seen the look on everyone's face! They were like...."Uhhhhh.....?" Total silence for a few seconds xD Then someone broke the ice, my mum I think xD Don't know if lingg felt shy or anything but everyone's reception towards her was warm haha. Oh oh and the best part was my grandparents =p
My grandparents were like standing rooted to a spot with their mouths open LOL! Wondered what went on in their mind =x SOOO yeah the gathering ended at around 8, lingg had a little time left before she had to leave so I suggested her coming up to my house first. My mum and sis were like really envious of lingg's height! xD
So I accompanied her for awhile then she asked if i wanted to go down with her to her uncle's house. Although I had work to do, but meh~~ let's go =p Watched television, slacked and stuff till around 12 andddd know what that means? It's my birthday! Lingg was really sweet to send me birthday wishes, she was the first this year! ^^ And that was not the last of it, she even got me a cake! That moment I must admit I was a little stunned haha~ I haven't received a cake meant for me for my birthday since 8 years ago, and that came really as a surprise. Never thought she would be the one to break that "curse" haha. I was really happy =D THANKS LINGG ;D
Then her cousins were nice to wish me a happy birthday too ^^ and yeah, my fb wall got flooded with birthday wishes haha!
So so so, at around 1 we decided to head back home. Ling's family went off first and I got another cab =p After reaching home, I opened up the cake and stared at it xD
Yeah it was reallll small hehe~ But it meant alot to me, so much so that I really didn't want to eat it =/ Well I eventually ate it anyway xD
Alright that's about it for today and it's one of the best days so far! Lingg, thank you so much really, and I Love You :)
