Close call
Here...nothing much occured today. It was the usual monday lecture and I went to school an hour ahead of time...actually thought the lecture started at 12 instead of 1.
So...I ended up touring around my block looking into the windows of people having their lessons...
So lecture started and ended. Didn't take too long..
Went to grab a meal with friends at Ang Mo Kio hub and back we went. At the traffic junction, it was the green man and well naturally you'd cross. Then all of a sudden I felt someone pulling me back with force and then a car sped pass in front of me =.=
I was...stunned?
Turns out my pal pulled me back. It was a really close call. Had I been alone, or had that friend of mine been weaker and unable to pull my weight...I probably wouldn't be blogging now. I'd probably be in hospital...or heck...maybe I won't even get the chance to see tomorrow.
Now I gottta say I'm really thankful to what he did. Were he not there, or I had been alone...everything would have ended there. It was...a close call.
Have always been a pretty careful person, what happened was just kinda out of the way. No way I wouldn't have seen a car coming at me at full speed. Maybe just really messed up, and perhaps confused...
After that, I just headed back home and started on my piles of work. I'm actually worried for the first time about work...cause there is so much to do. Everything dued in another week or two. Looks like I'll have to burn the midnight oil for a couple nights now...
Luckily there is vesak day tomorrow, so I can hopefully clear up as much work as I can...
Alright nothing much now...and motorists nowadays should really look where they're going....
